It's a mid-love thing, just because sometimes is just so much like DBZ with fights in every episode, a new baddie appears and suddenly Yusuke gets stronger although by most of the battle he seems like he is going to die he wins in a magical way.


Is good, but....not that psyched about new episodes, mostly the thing that keeps me watching YYH are Kurama and Hiei.

Well, I enjoy it. The first episodes had Yusuke actually using his brain. That is unusual.

Oh, I'm quite fond of that anime, and I've seen the entire series. For some reason, I don't like the main characters as much as the sidekicks and villains. *Shrugs*

I've seen all of the first season and most of the Dark Tournament. I no longer have cable so I didn't even know there were new episodes. I have a subscription to Shonen Jump, which publishes the manga version, so I can at least get what's going on (Although the last issue was when Yusuke defeated Suzaku). I thought the first episodes were...okay. The Dark Tournament, though, was awesome. It did get a little redundant with fight after fight after fight...after fight. Overall, though, it's an awesome series.

fol: Well, I like DB/DBZ too, so I'm kinda used to the whole "fight redundancy" thing. But, I agree, the Dark Tournament was awesome. ^_^

I don't really have access to the manga, (I've only read a little bit of it) so I have to rely on the Anime. :D But I'm just fine with that!

Yuyu Hakusho is one of my favorite animes/mangas!! I own both the anime and the manga.

I've seen all the series from the first day to the fourth re-run of the beginning. It's really funny. :lol: My favorite characters are Yusuke, Botan, Genkai, Youko Kurama, Jaganshi Hiei, and the funniest is Kuwabara.

Oddly enough, Kuwabara was supposed to be the smart guy and Yusuke was supposed to be the dumbass. That's supposed to be why Yusuke's stronger than Kuwabara; because K-bara's got brains. Course CN had to go and screw the whole thing up.

At least they got Hiei right. Favorite quote:

I think the serie's pretty good overall.
Not as big a fan now as I used to be, therefore I've not seen many of the new episodes.
The whole thing with normal people becoming psychics was pretty cool, though.

Something that I find a little annoying at times is how they constantly try to make Kuwabara more important. First, he can sense spirits and stuff, now he's that magical dimension-cutter dude with the kickass sword.
Don't get me wrong, I love swords, but still. He was the only normal human fighter in the group, but now he's all uber and crap.
