4kids getting the rights to this anime? I was personally hoping Funimation would abduct this anime, and play it on toonami. The reason I say this is because, 4kids cuts out a lot of the "violence" in their anime, and I'm never awake on Saturday mornings <_<. Anyway how do you feel about it?

Anime Dub by 4kids: You're joking, right? FUNimation is getting Full Metal Alchemist though...and they did do Detective Conan...so possibly the major things that are the innuendo and the names for the dub for OP. Personally, if they cast the characters well, I'll have no problem.

Yeah, I did see what they did to Shaman King, but you cannot judge a dub until you see it. Sure I've done my Sub vs. dub wars but you know something? There's always the internet for subbed eps. Ha!

I don't know about this, but I have heard that Funimation also specializes in butchering animes; but still the "Morty" thing in Shaman King can't be forgiven that easily.

Gah! Why can't they let the animes stay in their japanese language and put english subs? That would be awesome.


Does anyone knows which group dubbed .hack//SIGN? Definitly that is the best dubbing I have ever seen, ever.

Some of us can't read very fast. I watched "The Legend of the Seven Samurai" dubbed and I missed a few vital lines...

Bandai did Sign. I found a website where you can get the entire series plus the soundtrack plus a plushtoy plus a T-shirt for 27$!!!!!

This is true, Funimation has butchered some anime's in the past, but there really aren't any better dubbing company's that have televised animes. We all know about 4kids, and if you've ever heard of Card Captor Skura you know what Nelvana did to that show. I watched .hack a few times and I thought they did a good job, but the show is hardly ever on.

I watched the dubbed .hack and the original .hack and I could hardly tell the difference on the voice-acting, kudos on Bandai for that. :P



I haven't seen CCS, but what is up with that cheesy opening theme?! Not that the original wasn't cheesy but gah....

What exactly happened? I only knew that they censored the most important parts about Yuki and Tooya's ambigous relationships. (THEY CENSORED THE BEST PARTS OF CCS!).

4Kids killed it. And Shaman King wasn't that bad to me....but then again, I didn't see it in Japanese first so I wouldn't know what's good or not. But One Piece....:: shakes head :: They destroyed it...:disgusted: Heh funny face. XD
