Inuyasha is a half demon searching for shikon(sp) Jewel. He meets up with Kagome, a moder day girl, who falls back in to feudal age japan and meets inuyasha. Together they meet lots of people while searching for the jewel so that inuyasha can become a full demon.

And the are accompied by perverted monk Miroku, the last survivor of a demon-exterminator village called Sango, and an incredible cute little fox demon called Shippo.

Before Kykyo died, she cursed InuYasha and put him into a magical sleep using her miko (priestess) magics by enchanting an arrow to put inuyasha to sleep. When Kagome arrived, she freed InuYasha and he went immediately after the Shikon Jewel. While trying to retrieve it, Kagome accidentally shattered it. The Shikon Jewel has power to amplify any demon's power with a tiny little shard, and Kagome, InuYasha, Shippo, Sango (and her pet Kilala), and Miroku all set out to complete the jewel before the feared demon Naraku gains power from the Shikon jewel pieces he has collected himself.

ive seen every episode of inuyasha he has four tetsuiaga attack they are as followed kaze no kizu, bakuuyaha, sankoha, and red tetsuiaga {which breaks barriers}. in english they are as follows wind scar, backlash wave, diamond slash attack {which ultimatly kills naraku in episode 166}. oh yes and dont forget sankotessou, iron reaver soul stealer.

Inu Yasha is a anime by a female author, I forgot her name though. The whole plot of Inu Yasha is to get the Jewel shards from a evil being named, 'Naraku.' The flaw is that they've been trying to get the jewel shards from him for a long time. And fail imsserably everytime. It's been like that for a lot of episodes. I'd say about 90. 90 untill it get's boring that is. I wouldn't suggest you seeing too much of it. But alot of people adore the anime.

Also, there is a girl called Kagome who is the so called, 'Reincarnation of Kikyo.' A foolish thought at first, but not for very long. She turns out to be what they say she was and the story goes as it is. They encounter more people to travel with later on. Their names are: Miroku, Shippou, and sango. There are some others that don't go along with their tribe, but appear quite alot. One of them is Koga.

I agree, but is also stupid Inuyasha's fault for being so confused about two women that turn out to be the same and Kagome for not doing anything beyond getting mad at him. Ack, I am sticking to rooting for Miroku-Sango now. :constipated:

I admit that the plot of Inuyasha has dragged quite a long time, but I have seen further episodes of it and I think it grows quite interessting after a certain event, since you see the other characters like Sesshomaru, Kohaku (Sango's little "dead" brother), Koga and many other villians interact between each other. Not being focused on the same principal characters all the time, I think the author managed to bring up the plot again quite well, if you don't believe me just think of Naraku fighting Sesshomaru and yes...is that awesome. O_O;


And the author is Rumiko Takayashi, same as Ranma 1/2 and Uresei Yatsura.

Sesshomaru is my fav. character, I don't like inuyasha because he's weak, and he acts like a Dumb@%%$ sometimes. Naraku wanted to absorb sesshomaru huh?
