Why do some love Anime?

I don't even know why I'm explaining this . . .

1.) Shows such as DBZ, Pokemon (yes I'm stretching that a bit) and Yu-Gi-Oh (I'm stretching that A LOT) have fictional 'actiony' stuff which people seem to like so much. It's just something born into the human race.

2.) Anime graphics may "suck", but they appeal to something in our brains. The big eyes, strangely colored hair and wacky hairstyles add to this.

3.) Anmie shows depict a world a bit (cough) more exciting than real life. You never see an anime show where the problem is that someone's failing their classes, and if you do, they make it INTERESTING.

4.) The same stupid plots over and over? What shows have you been watching exactly . . .?

5.) Some guys (coughpervertscough) watch anime because you never see an ugly anime girl, or at least doesn't have good potential.

6.) Watch a good anime show and you'll figure it out.

I could go on for hours on end about all the reasons why people love Anime, but I feel like explaining it to someone like you would be a complete waste of my time. Therefore, you can go sit in a corner by yourself, and leave us Anime lovers alone to love our Anime. Thank you.

How about this: People like anime because they like it. Everything, including TV preferences is subjective, and there is no need to make fun of someone because they like something you don't. Personally, my favorite show is Invader Zim, as is evidenced by my signiture, but some people don't like it for some reason. I don't make fun of them for that.

anime is good depending on the show. here's my list-

db/z/gt- db is the weirdest, dbz is weird, and so is dbgt. i havent watched that show in a long time.
inuyasha- kickass! although they could lose the old fart on the cow and the human misquito.
pokemon- F**KING GAY!
