I looked in the back of one of my mangas and saw that TOKYOPOP is making a Kim Possible manga.
"Disney's hottest animated series just got a Cine-Manga makeover..."

Also, there is a Jimmy Neutron one.
"Jimmy blasts off in his own Cine-Manga"

What.
The.
****.
I think these "Cine-Mangas" should go burn in hell.
Discuss.

Cinemangas.

Who would come up with such a stupid idea? If someone wants to see a show, they watch the show, they don't go out and buy little books based off the show. Most of the people who watch crap like Jimmy Neutron and Kim Possible don't even know how to read in the first place. If they have to make these blasphemies, they could at least call them something like 'CartoonComic' or something, so they wouldn't defile the the name of manga.

...and now there is a Star Wars cine-manga.

Seriously, they are trying to exploit more an over-exploited franchise in a lame way, if they want to do something they should make comics, not mangas.

They know kids like anime, so theyre slapping manga on it to sell more books, god, this is quite the injustice...

What I don't understand is their sudden change of mind, they changed Tokyo Mew Mew to Hollywood Mew Mew so "the kids wouldn't tell it was a japanese cartoon".

But now they are doing this?! What the crap?! Cartoons should remain cartoons and manga should remain manga!

....although, now that I remember, Marvel comics also mangasized their comics, like X-Men and the Avengers with all of the manga stereotypes.

It's all about the money now. They don't care what makes the real anime/manga fans happy.
They just want little kids' parents to see their merchandise in a store.
The moms will say, "Oh! Joan loves that show!! Maybe I should get her this book!!!1!11!"

Meh
Burn in hell, cine-manga.

Cinemanga?

Needs to be stabbed like a potato with a fork and then put into the microwave, set on high till it explodes.

RAWRRRRRRRRRG, THIS IS SUCH A STUPID IDEA!

As you can tell, I am very upset about this.

I HATE this idea, it's so STUPID! How DARE they disgrace the good and wonderful name of manga?!? Are they TRYING to make it more hated by the masses?! Manga/Anime already has terrible stereotypes following it; it doesn't need any more!

*continues to grumble under her breath* <_<

Everything is about money nowadays. Perhaps we should boycot the cine-manga firm and make sure that every person who chipped into creating this blasphemy has a rectal cherry bomb surgery or two.

I lost so much respect for TokyoPop when they did this...

I wonder if they have them in Japan...

Probably not.

But if they do, I'm sure their godzilla will save them.

Here's how you boycott Cinemanga: don't buy it and buy Gohou Drug by CLAMP (serious CLAMP fan)

Or, buy all of the cinemanga in existance and destroy it, then dsetroy the companies that make them before they have a chance to produce any more. An expensive tactic, yes, but it gets the job done.

They just don't get it, stupid Japan-wannabes.

Technically though, it could be considered Manga. A very weak Manga, with no Japanese Input what-so-ever.... wait, WTF am i on? o.O. Isn't Manga The Japanese version of a comic, and shouldn't it be in Japanese with the book going from back-to-front?

So... going by that, this isn't REALLY Manga.... just an American Inferior(no Offence to teh USA dudes..)

Well, manga is translated into English rather often...

The Teej

Yes but that is _Translated_ Manga, the originals came from Japan. Where as the SLUT Cinemanga is american based, and therefore should not be classified as manga.

Just like American shows like Teen Titans and Dual Masters should not be considered True Anime. and although yes, anime is french for animation, Anime is generally referred to Japanese Cartoons, and Shows like that in America that are created in America should be dubbed officially as Americanime, so people can realise whos to blame for shit anime cartoons properly ;-). America always wants their stuff branded AMERICA across it, so whats so wrong with branding their own anime style cartoons Americanime?
