.hack.... boring?

My friend has the first dvd in the series. She lent it to me. I watched 3 1/2 epsiodes. Then I turned it off.

Is it just me, or was this the most boringist, repetitivness thing on the planet? Is this what animes like? If so, I shall stick to disney :lol:

Is only slow-paced at first, the whole drama can't happen in the first episodes, I really really loved .hack and around episode 6, or even 10, it starts to get like "OMG". Stick to it a little more and it will be worth it.

ya .hack//sign is slow i have it on dvd and it gets way better and you just cant stop watching it.... but most anime is pretty violent .hack//sign isnt though its not like most anime

.hack is my favorite anime of all time, tied only by a few other equally awesome titles. The complexity of the plot is a rarity in anime anymore, and the animation itself is... The best I've ever seen. Watch it, and thou shalt enjoy.

.hack//Sign is not a show that jumps out at you. It is something that slowly reels you in, forces you to think, use your brain and try to figure out the puzzles.

Yes, it is slow moving, not some quick action paced pile of crap. If you want one of those, watch any modern day Hollywood movie. Just lot's of action and nothing much really.

Personally it did not suit my taste. For me, it was a bit too slow moving and did not spark my interest. I am not saying that it's bad, just not to my liking.

I thought the whole thing was brilliant, the way the games, manga, and anime all tied together in some wierd way. I can't wait for the novels to be Americanized.

And Lel described .hack perfectly, is a serie that slowly grows and to fully understand it you have to watch the anime, play the games and read the novels, and the best thing of all is that all of the things in the .hack universe are perfectly tied.


Is quite amusing seeing characters of different .hacks meeting each other. XD Can't wait to play .hack//Mutation.

I love the battle system, this is not a RPG that will make you sleep. XD Though, the only thing I don't like, is that is almost a beat-them-up, is so lineal.

.hack is RPG but it doesn't use a turn-based battle thing, is a little hard to explain, but you can movie freely in the battles and doge attacks, but still you use spells and everything, but although you don't directly control your party's movement you can still chose which enemy to attack and what attacks use, is not as fast-paced as an action game but you still need fast reflexes to beat the enemies.


But okay, if you think .hack is boring is your oppinion and we all will respect that in our best of murderous-free oppinions, but damn, I still think is pretty good.

Okay, I actually really like the RPG turn-based battles, although the ATB can piss me off some times.

But yeah, .Hack has the most intresting battle system, and I think more games should have it...

And why hasnt Bandai put 2+2 together and actually MADE an MMORPG based on .Hack

Although the better put a jump button in the final version, because running close to the ground when you just wanna make like Sora and 'sproing' gets pretty dull.

Actually, no one has said anything officially whether or not Project GU is, in fact, The World MMORPG. Everyone's hopeful, but they look to be going for something new.

And as for you saying 'how dare you call .hack boring', no one said it was.The title is asking whether or not .hack is boring. Besides all that, Windmill hasn't seen the entire series, so she doesn't know how awesome it gets later on.

I'm just sad that Legend of the Twilight ends at volume 3... I need to go out and get that...and xxxHOLiC volume 3.
