I know them!! I just read the first manga but I saw the entire anime (too bad it was so short), it was pure shounen-ai glory in 13 heavenly episodes. XD Is really hard finding a quality shounen-ai anime, but this one is one of its kind, and the songs rock.


Are those two guys kissing in your avatar Yuki and Shuichi? By the way, applauds for you for bringing this topic up. XD

Umh.....no, shounen-ai is a genre in manga and anime. Unlike yaoi, that is heavily focused on guy-guy sex relationships, shounen-ai is more about romance than the sexual aspect, being more suitable for PG-13 (so is okay, and I won't close shounen-ai topics), it mainly deals with boy relationships, kisses and hugs and that's all, nothing that you wouldn't see in a girl's manga.




And Gravitation is one of the best shounen-ai animes I have ever seen!!! Is funny and sad beyond thinking, Yuki and Shuichi fragil relationship does keep one interested, too bad it was too short....but the awesomness of the songs paid for the lack of episodes. (Nittle Grasper XD).

Is mainly about Shuichi, a 19 year old young man whose dream is to be, with his best-friend Hiro, the number one band in Japan and compose songs that will make people happy as his favorite group "Nittle Grasper". Yet he doesn't foresee that he will meet the incredible sexy, mean, bully and writer Yuki, and eventually fall in love with him.

But is pretty interesting to see, specially the anime, because besides getting to see the concerts of the growing "Bad Luck" (Shuichi's band), he will deal with some things like the rivalry he eventually will have with "Nittle Grasper" and his idol, Ryuichi, main singer and composer of "Nittle Grasper", he will also have to deal with other rival bands and love rivals, and the problems that Yuki and Shuichi will have in front of society for being an homosexual-famous couple.


I really love this anime, and the songs are pretty good too specially since they are a mix of pop-rock with a good beat, and some songs are mainly techno.

I never got a chance to read the manga. One of my friends has it, but she said I wouldn't like it XD So I went and bought the anime. =D pretty good so far... I haven't finished it yet though >>
