End of Dragonball.

Well... what started when I was in junior high has finally run its full course...

1998 saw the first English-dubbed eps of DBZ on Cartoon Network's Toonami, and now, over 6 years later, Toonami has played the entire animated DB, DBZ, and DBGT series (for the most part ;) ). While I have to admit that my interest in the series started to wane over the past couple years, I still love the shows for all the great entertainment they provided over the years.

Thinking back to how I used to rush home to catch the latest ep on Toonami every weekday, it makes me a little sad to think that the shows have been played out. What are your reactions on this?

I never really watched Dragonball. It was sort of a 'I know it exists, but I don't really care.' type of thing. But I know a ton of people who are obsessed with it. So...I'm not really affected all that much. :weak:

Oh well. It is kind of weird to think that kids will one day be like, "Dragonball? What's that?" :(

I was the same way. I remember during the Cell saga, when they showed Cell's shadow and then ended the ep, I literally screamed. Every day hinged on the next episode of DBZ. DB was kind of...meh, and DBGT was kind of...blah, but it is sad that the series is over...

...unless the rumored DBAF is more than a rumor...

Of course, I doubt anyone would take a series called 'Dragonball Angel Fart' seriously. <_<

it has ended here about a year ago, though they haven't aired the original Dragonball series yet.

Back to the topic.....*CRIES* NOOO!!!! IVE WATCHED THIS SERIES FOR YEARS! I was like 6 when I found this show on at like 6 in the morning. I remember when I didn't have cable ands was homeschooled I went to my friends house at 5 and watch it. It was so fun. Then during the cell saga it was summer and i kinda forgot about it but I got caught up agaain during the end of it. I missed everything after that besuides bits and peices of gokus tournament up until vegeta blew himself up with buu. After that I watched it like a halk. Everyday making sure I was there. I remember when dbz was over I was ok because I knew that gt was coming and I had seen some of it in japanese but I also knew that it was only aroung 64 episodes.

Ill never forget that last episode. I almost scremed when the announcer guy said "Final episode".
