I only heard about it when it came on Cartoon Network, Saturday Nights at... 8. On New years they are showing all the episodes they have so far and a new one at 10:30. XP it starts at 2:30 I think. They have shown the commercial too many times that's how I know this.

It seems to me that they could of done a much better job on the character Naruto. I don't like his whole presentation at all. I mean look at the type of clothes they give him. I don't like his voice, his face or even the colour of his hair either. The only thing thats cool about him is his head band, but then many of the other characters wear that head band too. I hope as the show goes along he'll get some new duds to wear cause I'm not really feelin that orange out fit <_<. As for the other chacracters, they seem cool :).

Well because in the beggining of the show, he isn't all too spectacular, rught off the Back Orichimarua seals the Demon inside of him even more, it's when that seal wears off, when Naruto gets intresting.

He did win some of his fights fairly, though, like his match with Neji, and when he defeated Gaara of the Desert (...or should I say Shukaku...?) when Konoha was being raided by surprise, but overall, the only other times I can remember him beating his opponents out of nowhere is whenever the Kyubi's seal loosens.

Naruto has moved up in rank to my favorite anime. I watch the japanese episodes, the translated ones really suck, and they change the words and scenes around. My favorite Characters are (in order)
1. Gaara
2. Rock Lee
3. Shikamaru
4. Kimimaro

Yeah, number four is a bad guy, but hell, he's cool. My favorite episode so far was the one where chouji has to use all three soldier pills to defeat Jiroubo (I think that's his name) and he turns all of his extra fat into chakra. That was also one of the sadest episodes so far because Spoiler: highlight-chouji ends up dieing because the red pill kills him. He knew it upon taking it, but his friendship with his friends made himhim not want to give up or let them down.I think it was one noble act, and he looked awesome in skinny form! Anyways, I think it's episode 116 or somewhere around there, it's on youtube.

Umm, actually--er--I'm...just gonna keep my mouth shut.
My favorite episodes are episode-101 (when Naruto's group is trying to see Kakashi's face) and episodes 131-133 (when Naruto and Sasuke fight...for real [EDIT] and watch this...no flashbacks! ...Well, there's one flashback part, but it doesn't take up, like, 80% of the episode like most other fight episodes).
And, yes, the english-dubbed version really sucks. It was pretty cool in the beginning of the show (from episode-1 and throughout the Zabuza and Haku season), but once it got to the Chunin exams, it just completly went down into the toilet. I still remember Naruto's line (in the eng-dub) in the Forest of Death...'I wrote my whole name!' Ugh...that line's only the least bit credible if it's snowing.
It still sucks, though, that Aoi isn't in any of the Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! (or Naruto: Clash of Ninja) games...even though he's a filler character.
