Default I finally caught it.

I know it's not as hard as in OoT, but after finally getting the sinking lure I managed to catch a loach in lure fishing.

My left arm. It has been reduced to Jello.

I hate you loach, but now you're mine.

So tell me TPC, have any of you caught the loach before, and if so, was it as hard as you thought it would be?

Personally I didn't think finding it was that hard, but I hated trying to land it.

Nice job. I've never gotten it in Oot or TP. I haven't tried, and I probably won't try.

I caught the loach once. and I was compleatly unaware of it, I wasn't paying attention and just read something in the discription about it being special and whatnot. I give it to the guy and he is like omg, let me use this for my own benifit and take a picture of it that is revealed to you in Twilight princess, Damn fishman.

Snap, I don't even remember. Sinking lure...loach...y'know, I haven't!
I think I'd better go get TP out and show a fish who's boss.

Trust me... the girl who runs the fishing hole.

She is a stalker.

She WATCHES you. I mean, she never saw my shiny fishing lure, but she... just...

When you catch the loach, you'll know just what I mean.

Oh wait.
I was always wimped out and opted not to use the sinking lure. That would probably explain why I haven't caught the loach.

Well he can ONLY be caught by either the sinking lure or the frog lure. The problem is the frog lure is harder to use then any other lure, harder to get then the sinking lure (I've gotten it, but my game got cut-off before I saved), and it's just a hassle. If you wanna go with non-illegal lures, use the frog one.

I might try that just for the added challenge (as if it didn't sound hard enough). Thanks for the tip. Deleted my TP save recently though, gonna have to play through it again to reach the fishing pond.

I started a new TP file a while ago. I made it right up to before the lakebed temple and I quit. The time before I tried this, I made it up to the middle of the snowpeak level.

One of these days, I will gain the ability to play through the 30 hour game again.

C'mon, man, it's about committment. Follow-through. Et cetera.
Which reminds me, I need to put some time aside to play Golden Sun.

And TP, since I gotta catch the loach. Guh, I think I got to the Forest Temple -- that game's opening stuff is pretty long. Sometimes you just wanna jump into a dungeon, y'know? Ah well.

I do recall, the last time I played, that getting to the first dungeon took an un-naturally long time.

I just read an article the other day confirming that the new Wii-zelda is gonna make an appearence at E3 '10. Although it wasn't confirmed for E3 '10, Golden Sun DS should show up too. If that's the case, Nintendo might have a pretty good E3.

Yeah, TP has a good amount of stuff before the first dungeon. I mean, gameplay outside of a dungeon isn't particularly bad at all, but it really does make for a slow opening to the game, especially with how little freedom you have throughout all of it.

Let's hope. That being said, I have't really cared about an E3 since it was downsized, to be honest.

Actually, last year's E3 was pretty big.

Congratulations on the fish!

For Nintendo, or in general? Either way, any idea where I might pick up some vids of the conferences/showcases? (And, uh, sorry to be off topic.)

I might still have'm recorded on my Tivo thing. someone probably deleted them though. G4 had them for a little while atleast, they probably aren't there anymore, but I guess you could check G4's website. Other than that, Youtube.
