Default Saint Oniisan - Buddha and Jesus living in Earth.

I usually don't start topics in this forum, nor do crap here. But this manga is so funny, and so good, that I would like to recommend it to anyone here.

Saint Oniisan.

"What if Jesus and Buddha were living on Earth in modern times? What if they shared an apartment in Japan? Saint Young Men is a humorous manga about the daily lives of Jesus and Buddha, with each chapter focusing on some element of modern life, such as Disneyland, rush hour on the train, Christmas, the public pool, carnivals, and more."

This manga is ranked number 1 in Japan (or was number 1?). I read many good reviews of this manga, and was a little hesitant at first. A manga about Jesus and Buddha? Well, what the hell. I decided to read the first chapter, and I got addicted.
Some people might find this offensive, but I advise you to read this manga with an open mind. I didn't find it offensive nor heretic. It's pure comedy, and some aspects of religion are simply portrayed differently. Both Buddha and Jesus remain very compassionate and kind characters, but with their own specials quirks in modern day Japan.

This manga gave me a good laugh, and a great time. I recommend this to anyone who wants to read something a bit different.

Just read through it all. It's alright, has some good moments here and there. The only thing I found weird is that about the first half of all of it posted there is, like, 90% Buddha jokes and 10% Jesus jokes, then the second half was the reverse.

The Yakuza jokes were the best part of the whole thing.

The girl I went out with on my first date told me about this. Appernetley at one point Jesus tells Buddha that someone mistook him for Johnny Depp.
